NAMI Homefront Trainer
Daryn Nelsen-Soza, MSW, LCSW, LICSW, is a graduate of the University of Southern California - School of Social Work. She is a member of NAMI Thurston/Mason where she is on the Board of Directors. She is a facilitator for several NAMI Signature classes, is a state trainer for Homefront and Provider Education. She has facilitated in person and online trainings for NAMI. She is also a National trainer for Provider Education. Daryn serves on the State Board of Directors for NAMI Washington State. She has presented numerous workshops both locally and nationally on a variety of topics including suicide prevention and awareness and depression. Daryn is currently employed at Sea Mar Community Health Centers as manager of the Care Management Team working with high risk clients with both physical and behavioral health concerns. In addition to her social work education, Daryn has 25 years of ministry and pastoral counseling experience with a diverse group of communities and individuals including seniors, youth, and couples. She continues to pursue active role of a mental health educator/therapist within the faith based community.
